The flat roof dunny is well represented in the Australian countryside. it was common with flat roofed dunnies to have a rock or lump of timber to hold the roof down, after the nails had come loose in a big blow (storm). Our model is of corrugated iron with a stink pile or vent, some firewood and a few 4x2s to brace it at the side.
